PENGGUNAAN SISTEM PTOS-M (PELINDO TERMINAL OPERATING SYSTEM MULTIPURPOSE) DALAM EFISIENSI OPERASIONAL GENERAL CARGO DI PT PELINDO CABANG MAUMERE

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the role of the PTOS-M system in supporting General Cargo operations. 2) analyze the level of suitability of system implementation to actual field conditions. 3) identify factors inhibiting the operation of the PTOS-M system. 4) formulate efforts to optimize system use to improve work efficiency. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with officers and management, and a review of operational documents, which were then systematically analyzed. The results of the study are: 1) PTOS-M plays a crucial role in integrating all workflows, resulting in faster and more accurate data. 2) The implementation has generally been successful but has not fully adapted to field dynamics. 3) The main obstacles include network instability, uneven user understanding, and a system design that has not fully adapted to local conditions. 4) Efforts include adjusting procedures, improving coordination between units, and maintaining backup records in the event of disruptions.
