About the Journal

Majalah Ilmiah Bahari Jogja is a scientific publication issued twice a year, in February and July. This journal has both E-ISSN and P-ISSN, and is indexed with an official DOI identity. Its publication focus covers academic and applied studies in the field of maritime and marine sciences, aimed at researchers, lecturers, practitioners, shipping operators, marine transportation managers, marine environmentalists, as well as institutions engaged in maritime education and training (MET). The main areas of study include various aspects of maritime sciences such as marine navigation systems, cargo handling and management, ship operation control, and ship machinery systems. In addition, the scope of research also encompasses ship electrical and electronic systems, machinery maintenance and repair, and crew resource management. Marine energy, ship design and technology, as well as control and automation systems are also important areas in the advancement of maritime knowledge. Furthermore, studies on marine science and engineering, sea transportation management and logistics, port and shipping company management, and maritime education and training remain central to this publication.
