PENERAPAN ISPS CODE DI PELABUHAN TANJUNG EMAS SEMARANG

This thesis the author examines the implementation of the ISPS Code in Semarang Tajung Emas Harbour is described by the Port Authority and the Ministry of Semarang Harbor in the work environment at the end of 2012. Guaranteeing security in the port can be proved with the Port Facility Security Compliance Statement or SoCPF.

As for the agencies as a source of data that the Port Authority, Best CPO, PT. Bogasari, PT.Pertamina, PT. Pelni, Academician carried out from Desember 2011 until March 2012, the authors examine the implementation of the ISPS Code in Semarang Tajung Emas Harbour using interviews and observations. Examine whether the Port Authority and related agencies shipping in the port of Semarang implement the ISPS Code which is mandatory the International Maritime Organisation.

As the subject of implementation of the ISPS Code is where the Port Authority which is a legal entity which has authority in the port of Semarang, while the implementation of the ISPS Code rule is an object which is used as the theme of writing a thesis.

The result shower the maximum implementation of the ISPS Code have not been at the Semarang Tajung Emas Harbour. Lack of effective human resource and the cost led to the implementation of  the ISPS Code in the port of Semarang is not maximal.
