Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of agency service quality on the loading process at PT IDT Trans Agency Sungai Danau Branch. The method of analysis used is to use a tringulation analysis in which the retrieval is done by interview, documentation and literature study. This analysis can be used in providing answers to what is done to determine the direction and how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. The results showed that the cause of loading document errors and the impact that occurred on errors in making loading documents by agents on board at PT IDT Trans Agency Sungai Danau Branch, namely the lack of accuracy of agents on board in making loading documents which caused typing errors or incorrect data input and that could lead to decreased service quality. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that increasing the capacity and ability of human resources in providing services to ship crews and in making document loading so that errors in making document loading can be avoided.
