Membangun Altruism Crew Kapal KM Baruna

Abstract
Crew kapal merupakan organisasi yang mapan, yang harus kompak dan serius dalam setiap pekerjaannya karena pekerjaan yang kaku dan semua aturan harus terpenuhi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kekompakan dan kohesivitas tim. Kohesivitas tim akan tercipta jika setiap anggota tim memahami kepentingan bersama. Menggantikan rekan kerja yang berhalangan dengan sukarela merupakan salah satu sifat altruism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana sifat altruism dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan hubungan antar anggota crew, serta bagaimana hal tersebut dapat memperpanjang umur organisasi dan meningkatkan keberhasilan perusahaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengambil populasi dan sampel semua crew kapal KM Baruna yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian dimulai dengan membuat kuesioner altruism yang kemudian divalidasi. Setelah itu, kuesioner disebarkan kepada semua crew kapal. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Semua indikator Altruism menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Altruism pada crew anak buah kapal KM Baruna sangat baik. Dampak dari altruism yang baik akan meningkatkan kinerja dan hubungan pertemanan antar anggota crew. Pada akhirnya, altruism yang baik akan meningkatkan ketahanan organisasi sehingga umur organisasi menjadi lebih lama dan perusahaan menjadi lebih berjaya.
